Tongue stabilization device for breath-holding disorder
The TSD (Tongue Stabilizing Device) anti-snoring device is a simple, affordable, and non-invasive solution to the problem of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
It is a simple and universal solution that uses tongue displacement technology.
There is no need to shape or finish it, nor to make any modifications to the jaw.
It is perfect for those who wear dentures because it does not put any pressure on gums, jaw, or teeth. It is also a comfortable option for those who have difficulty adjusting to the jaw position of a denture.
Check the language…Prevent snoring

The Anti Snore TSD is a simple, effective, and non-invasive medical anti-snoring device. It offers a straightforward solution for snoring treatment.

Traditional mandibular advancement devices indirectly move the tongue forward by moving the jaw. But the Anti-Snoring TSD device gently suctions the tip of the tongue, preventing it from falling back into the throat and blocking the airways. Additionally, it prevents teeth clenching and grinding by positioning the tongue between the upper and lower teeth.

Made of soft medical-grade silicone, the Anti Snore TSD is a one-size-fits-all model. The Anti Snore TSD requires no impressions, no adjustments, and has no moving parts. Above all, it is suitable for anyone, even those with temporomandibular joint problems and for edentulous patients.

How to use?
- Place the TSD in the mouth, that is, between the front teeth and the lips. The protruding bulb is outside the mouth.
- The side with the small cut on the TSD should go to the bottom of the mouth.
- Press the bulb to release the air.
- Insert the tongue into the tube and release the bulb. This creates a suction vacuum and the tongue attaches to the bulb area of the TSD.
What are the causes of snoring?

Snoring is caused by narrowing of the upper airways during sleep. This can be due to enlarged tonsils, soft palate, long uvula, or excessive floppy tissue in the throat. All these areas relax during sleep.
In other cases, nasal congestion due to allergies or cartilage deformities between the two sides of the nose can contribute to airway narrowing.
By keeping the airways open, air travels more slowly, reducing throat vibrations and decreasing or eliminating problematic snoring. Holding the tongue forward is one of the most effective ways to keep the airways open during sleep.
However, the most common cause of upper airway narrowing is a tongue muscle that relaxes excessively during sleep. When relaxed, it is sucked into the throat with each breath.
Since snoring occurs when air travels faster through a narrow passage than a wide one, this fast-moving air causes the relaxed soft tissues of the throat to vibrate. It is this vibration that creates the sound of snoring.
Common causes of snoring
- Supine body position (lying on the back)
- Large tonsils, long soft palate, or uvula
- A tongue that relaxes too much during sleep
- Being overweight
- Nasal congestion from colds, allergies, or deformities of the cartilage inside the nose
- Menopause
- Consuming alcohol, medications, or tobacco products within six hours of going to sleep
- Hypothyroidism
Who snores?
Over 60% of the adult population suffers from snoring. This percentage increases every year in people over 50, as the tissues of the upper airways lose elasticity and tend to vibrate more during breathing, increasing the incidence of snoring. When the airways narrow during sleep, the tongue is more easily sucked into the back of the throat and blocks the airways.
- 60% of men and 40% of women over 40 years old habitually snore.
- Snoring is a common problem in children aged 2 to 7 years, especially if they have a chest infection or enlarged tonsils.
- Snoring is a common problem among women even in the late stages of pregnancy.
